Late Openings and Recess Fun

With the cold weather here, please check the Parent Handbook for the schedule of late openings. Also, first and second graders are a hearty bunch and do go out for recess unless the temperature dips too low. If your child would like to go in the snow at recess time, please make sure he/she can pass the "five finger" test. Students need: coat, snow pants, hat, gloves, and boots to go in the snow.

The Harlem Wizards are Coming to Town!

The Harlem Wizards are playing the BK Bruisers on Saturday, February 28th at 1:00 PM and 4:30 PM. Come and watch the fun as they play basketball against the Brewster staff, including the principal, teachers, and teacher assistants. It's great fun! Tickets are on sale for both games and are available on a first come, first served basis at Brewster. Advance tickets are $10, $12 at the door on the day of the event.

Community Service

The Brewster students and their families have been contributing to our Hope for Haiti wall. Ribbons of yellow, red and blue are lining our walls. Students have brought in over $900 to purchase ribbons with their names on them. We have another week left to reach our goal of $1,000. Thank you all for your generosity.
