Korn students are special. Each week, every classroom teacher randomly picks "a student of the week". That students selects items that represents his or her interests, hobbies, family, etc. Those items are placed in the "Student of the Week Showcase" in the front lobby. |

Korn School is full of STARRs. (Students Acting Respectfully and Responsibly) Faculty and staff are looking for students to be respectful to one and other as well as to adults. They are also looking for an entire class to be responsible and respectful. STARR points are handed out to the student or class. At the end of the month students cash in the points for various activities or prizes. This program is in addition to our Core Value Board. |

"Go Far" running is held on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays during recess. Parent volunteers monitor the number of laps a student runs. Students earn charms for a necklace when they have run a mile, 5 miles and on "special" running days. During September they had the apple run. 80 percent of our students participated. |

3rd and 4th grade students may sign up for chorus. Chorus is held every Thursday morning under the direction of Tiger Robison, music teacher. Concerts are held in December and June. Band is offered to 4th grade students. Cheryl Wiener gives lessons to students once a week and band practice is held on Wednesday afternoon. A band concert is held in June. |

Jen Holland, PE and Health teacher, coaches intramural sports throughout the year. Students can sign up for soccer in the fall, basketball in the winter and golf in the spring. Soccer and basketball are played during lunch and recess. Golf is played after school. |

Korn students are always incorporating the Core Values; Respect, Responsibility, Honesty, Kindness, and Courage into their everyday lives. Each month we focus on one of the Core Values. Each month students will get their names on the Core Values board when seen by an adult practicing one of the Core Values . |
